Google is cutting about 200 employees in its second round of layoffs. “The latest layoffs are concentrated in the division that sells Google’s  advertising. In a blog posting, Google said it had hired too many employees doing the same jobs during its rapid expansion.”  This is about 1% of of Google’s 20,200 employees. This past year, Google earned $4.2 billlion on revenues of $22 billion.
